Sensei Scott Flannigan

Scott Flannigan is a highly respected Shotokan karate instructor based in Brandon, Manitoba, with over four decades of experience in martial arts. He has dedicated his life to teaching and promoting traditional karate across western Manitoba, including communities such as Carberry, Minnedosa, Neepawa, Shilo, and Souris.
Flannigan’s karate journey began in the early 1980s, and his commitment to the art has led him to compete at the international level, including participation in World Championships. His teaching emphasizes discipline, respect, and personal growth, fostering a supportive environment for students of all ages.
In addition to his instructional roles, Flannigan has been actively involved in organizing seminars and events to promote karate in the region. His contributions have been instrumental in the development and success of karate clubs throughout Manitoba.
Through his unwavering dedication, Scott Flannigan has significantly impacted the martial arts community in Manitoba, inspiring countless students and promoting the values of traditional Shotokan karate.
